Yoga Class Style Choices:
-Gentle Vinyasa- Explore the basic elements of Vinyasa in a slow, gentle flow. Here we find movement and breath connection, while tuning into the subtle movements and sensations of the body. We begin with a long warmup to prepare the body for movement, then flow into some basic yoga postures, and finally end with a gentle cooling sequence of stretches followed by a restorative Savasana.
-Slow Flow- Mellow out with this mix of breath and movement flow, and Yin/Restorative poses. Here we will find slow, steady movements in basic yoga postures as we tap into the breath body, and find supportive resting postures throughout the sequence. If you’re looking for some movement but wish to keep it on the Yin (calming) continuum, this is the class for you.
-Yin/Restorative- If you want to stay in your PJ’s, this is the class for you. Yin/Restorative yoga focuses on calming the nervous system. With little to no movement, we shift from one still hold to another, many times with the support of props. Props allow for the body to relax enough to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system, the “resting” system in our body that allows us to truly calm our nerves. Each pose is held for anywhere from 1-5 minutes, depending on the posture. This allows for the body’s tissues to relax and melt into a deeply relaxed state. We start with a very slow warm-up to get the body ready for the postures, and end with a long 10-15 minute Savasana coupled with guided meditation.
-Gentle Hatha- This gentle class focuses on long holds. Simple yoga poses are molded together in a sequence that encourages focus, balance and strength. If you’re looking for movement without the flow, this is the class for you. As we shift gently from one posture to another, each pose builds upon the last working toward a specific end goal.
Notes for the Host
It is beneficial to have an area cleared with enough space for us all to practice together. Please have space cleared and ready at least 15 minutes prior to class start time.
I encourage you to make your Ladies Night In just as you’d like it to be! Refreshments and food are welcomed. I am the yoga facilitator, and you all get to relax and have a lovely night in as you so deserve. So create the haven you desire and I’ll do the rest!

*Waiver and Liability Form:
All participants, including the host, must sign a waiver and liability form prior to practicing to ensure safety for all in practice. You may print and sign the form and bring it with you by clicking HERE. I will also have some with me upon arrival.
Due to the nature of the yoga practice, kids ages 15 and up are welcome. Any child under the age of 18 must have a legal parent or guardian sign their waiver form prior to practice.
I try to keep these events as casual, fun and light-hearted as possible. With that in mind, please talk with me in advance should you have any pain, injuries, or medical conditions I need to be aware of, so that I can assist you appropriately.
